After receiving his Saxhorn diploma at The Paris Conservatoire, he teaches Tuba and Serpent at Rouen Conservatoire, where he also directs the brass ensemble and the chamber music class of the early music department.
He subsequently studied the Serpent with Michel Godard and Jean Tubéry, with whom he also studied bass cornet. He is frequently invited to perform with various early music ensembles : La Fenice, Sagittarius, Le Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, Les Passions. With Les Meslanges and François Ménissier he recorded « Le serpent imaginaire 1550-1650 » for Hybrid’music. He organised a symposium at Les Invalides « Le serpent sans sornettes » and he constructs numerous projects in collaboration with the Musée de la Musique de Paris.
